LE VAUCLIN The villa "Les Grenadilles" is located at 33 kilometers from the airport of Lamentin on the South Atlantic coast of Martinique. It is composed by three constructions, two of them being connected together by a same roof forming gallery. Thus are distributed in the secondary house : an air-conditionned bedroom with a mezzanine and a contiguous bathroom... then in the main building a living room, a half bathroom, and a double bedroom (air-conditionned). The gallery on two sides of the house is used at the same time as prolongation of the living-room in front of the sea, and as a dining room for the verandah which skirts the part where the kitchen stands.

"Les grenadilles" are located in a calm and residential district at 2,8 km from the small town of Le Vauclin, there, you will discover the charms of past time Martinique, and a friendly population if you visit the market which is held on the beach-front place of the town .

If you plan to leave the serenity of the Grenadilles, and tour the island, this place constitutes a good base from which to radiate and discover, either some of the most beautiful beaches of Martinique, or the neighbouring countryside which offers superb prospects and panoramic sights.
A food shop is located 700 meters from the villa but if you wish to discover french west indies' gastronomy you will be able to choose from the small restaurants in town (within 2.800 meters).

With the "Pointe Faula", closest public beach, you will be able to initiate yourselves to windsurfing. The training conditions are ideal, sail club on location, trade winds facing spot, protected bay, water over 25¨É centigrades, and, appreciable characteristic for the absolute beginners, in an area of more than 6.000 square meters from the beach, the depth does not exceed 70cm.

Rates include local phone calls, equipment and household linen (not the beach towels).
